'For more than 10 years, collectors from all over the world have been enjoying their membership of the Kathe Kruse doll club known as 'The Kathe Kruse Family'. It is more than just a club; it is about friendship, family and the passion for dolls.
As a member you will receive your club magazine 'Doll One' three times a year. The magazine informs members about the recent trends, news, and special editions, as well as stories about Kathe Kruse's history.
Our
collectors love the special editions that are only available to Club members,
as well as our miniature dolls that are given each year as a gift. Every
member also receives free of charge our doll calendar and our catalogues.'
The Club Year runs from 1st May each year to 30th April the following
year
The Club fee:
35.00 Euros for one year
65.00 Euros for two years
90.00 Euros for three years
...which entitles members to a quarterly newsletter and a special club
gift
(see details above).
Customers wishing to join the Club can pay through
KR Bears and Dolls in £'s sterling and the conversion will be made
at the time of payment.
Members are then able to purchase the Club Doll, which for 2010/2011 is
'The Ballerina' shown below
('The Ballerina' is not available to non-club members)
Orders for 'The Ballerina' need to be received BEFORE the end of the Club
Year on 30th April 2011, after that date the edition will be closed
PLEASE NOTE each Club doll is custom made to order,
and therefore delivery can take up to SIX MONTHS
(On 1st May 2011 the new Club Doll will be revealed)

Our Club Edition 2010/2011 is The Ballerina. The Ballerina stands 7 inches tall and is made with an inner wire skeleton. Her arms and legs are very flexible – just like a real dancer. Her papermaché head is hand painted and her white dress is very light and made of silk and lace. Käthe Kruse used to make The Ballerina as a dollhouse doll between 1916 and 1925 and after 85 years the Käthe Kruse Studios have made a replica of her. The Ballerina is limited to 250 dolls and is exclusively available for members of the Käthe Kruse Family. She will be delivered in a special box with a certificate. |
